October 2, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 11700 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road about 4:20 a.m. on Sunday (October 1).

The identity of the deceased female, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer P. Pham reported:

The female was driving a white Ford F-150 pickup truck northbound on the service road near the above address when, for unknown reasons, she lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck a power pole. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.

The investigation is continuing.
