November 30, 2023 - Houston police have learned a male critically injured in a crash at 1600 North Durham Street about 11:55 p.m. on Tuesday (November 28) has died.  

The identity of the male, 30, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer D. Hoang reported:  

The male was operating a blue ZNEN Moped scooter southbound near the above address where there is construction on both sidewalks.  The scooter failed to stay in a single lane and struck a traffic barrel.  

Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the male to Memorial Hermann Hospital - Texas Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased on Wednesday (Nov. 29).  

No other vehicles were involved in this crash.
