November 20, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8609 Pagewood Lane about 4:10 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 19).

The identity of the victim, 33, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. May and C. Sharp reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a business at the above address and observed the victim unresponsive outside his vehicle.  He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.  Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Detectives learned the victim was confronted by an unknown male suspect during an apparent robbery.  Following a brief struggle, the suspect shot the man and then fled the scene in an unknown sedan.
