May 30, 2023 - The fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of two others at 4030 Boone Road about 8:10 p.m. last Friday (May 29) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.

The identify of the deceased male, 35, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Torres and A. Graf reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting outside a business at the above address and learned the victim had been transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  Upon further investigation, two additional males were located at area hospitals with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Witnesses stated two men began arguing with a third male.  The argument escalated and two of the three men exchanged gunfire.  All three men were struck.

After consulting with the Harris County District Attorney's Office, it was determined the incident would be presented to a grand jury for review.
