May 24, 2023 - Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in the death of an infant at 5915 Flintlock Road about 12:45 p.m. on September 25, 2022.  

The suspects, Fredrick Brown, 26, and Christin Patrick, 26, are charged with injury to a child-serious bodily injury in the 208th Stat District Court.  The are accused in the death of their son, Saint Brown, 2.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detectives K. Fregia and D. Higgs reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a residence at the above address regarding the death of a two-year-old male, later identified as baby Saint Brown.  At that time, the parents of the child, Brown and Patrick, told police the child had fallen down the stairs.  

A subsequent autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined the baby had suffered blunt force trauma and the manner and cause of death was ruled as a homicide.  

Brown and Patrick were arrested by members of the Westside Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team without incident on Wednesday (May 24) and were subsequently charged for their roles in their son's death.
