May 22, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 99 North Post Oak Lane about 3:35 p.m. on Sunday (May 22).

The identity of the victim, 21, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Finlay and L. Kauffman reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex parking lot at the above address and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  He was transported by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

Investigators believed the unknown suspect(s) attempted to rob the victim prior to shooting him.
