March 27, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 8600 South Freeway (State Highway 288) about 3:15 p.m. on Saturday (March 25).  

The identity of the deceased male, 59, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer ? Stout reported:  

The male was operating a black Trike motorcycle (three-wheeler) with a group of other riders traveling southbound near the above address when he failed to stay in a single lane and struck the concrete freeway wall.  The impact caused the motorcycle to roll over several times, ejecting the male.  Paramedics were called and pronounced him deceased at the scene.  

No other persons or vehicles were involved in the crash.
