June 16, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7000 Airline Drive about 7:40 p.m. on Thursday (June 15).

The identity of the deceased male, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Best reported:

The male, riding a bicycle, exited a parking lot and entered the roadway at the above address when he was struck by a black Mercedes Benz S500 traveling southbound. Paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

The male driver, 25, showed no visible signs of intoxication and was questioned and released with no charges filed at this time. The investigation is continuing.
