June 15, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10205 East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) service road about 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday (June 14).

The identity of the victim, 19, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Hale and K. Amri reported:

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to a shooting in the parking lot of a business at the above address and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported the man to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Witnesses stated they heard gunshots and saw a vehicle, described as a brown or tan Chevrolet Trail Blazer with blue side panels, fleeing the scene.
