July 3, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7000 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road about 6:35 a.m. today (July 3).

The identity of the deceased male, 46, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and Officer J. Tran reported:

The male was driving a white Nissan Altima northbound at the above address when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a fence and then a tree.  Paramedics were called and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.  No other persons or vehicles were involved in the crash.

The investigation is continuing.
