January 17, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 4400 Caroline Street about 5 p.m. on Monday (January 16).  

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Montalvo and Detective E. Martinez reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address and found the victim unresponsive on a sidewalk.  He had been suffered at least one gunshot wound.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased.  

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
