January 9, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3100 McKinney Street about 10:05 p.m. on Sunday (Jan. 8).

The identities of the two deceased males are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer R. Ramos reported:

An orange Honda motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound at the above address.  Two bicyclists were on a bike trail and entered the crosswalk at McKinney Street heading northbound when one of them was struck by the motorcyclist.    

Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist, 37, and bicyclist, 49, deceased at the scene.  A second bicyclist, who witnessed the crash, was not injured.

The investigation is continuing.
