February 2, 2023 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a male at 2465 South Kirkwood Road about 1:20 p.m. on December 7, 2022.

The person of interest is described as a black male, medium height and build, tied-back locks and a moustache and beard. He was wearing a black Adidas jogging suit jacket, red sweat pants, black shoes and glasses. Surveillance photos of the person of interest, who is not charged in this case, are attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Terrence Jordan, 29.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Nabors and D. Hobson reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

The suspect was described only as a black male.

Further investigation identified the male in the photos as a person of interest, who was in the area and may have information on the shooting. Detectives want to speak with him.
