December 1, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 9000 South Dairy Ashford about 4:35 a.m. today.

The identity of the deceased female, 21, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer Mathews reported:

The female was driving a white Toyota Camry southbound at the above address at a high rate of speed when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree head-on. The vehicle then spun and struck a second tree, splitting the vehicle in half. The female was ejected from the vehicle. Responding Houston Fire Department medics pronounced her deceased at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
