August 22, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 8700 Sterlingshire about 11:45 a.m. on Monday (August 21).

The identity of the deceased male, 36, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and Officer T. La reported:

The male was operating a red Honda motorcycle westbound at the above address when he lost control of the bike. The motorcycle hit a curb and then a tree. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

There were no other persons or vehicles involved in this crash. The investigation is continuing.
