August 21, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11507 Duane Street about 7:55 p.m. last Friday (August 18).

The victim is identified as Michael Ford, 27.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Lamont and Detectives K. Hale and R. Waterwall reported:

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to a shooting at a residence at the above address and found Mr. Ford in the living room. He has suffered a gunshot wound. HFD paramedics pronounced him deceased.

A preliminary investigation and evidence from the scene determined a silver SUV, described only as a silver Ford Explorer, was traveling in the area and, an unknown suspect(s) fired shots from inside the vehicle at the residence.
