April 24, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at 500 East Little York Road about 12:50 a.m. on Saturday (April 22).

The identity of the deceased female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Le and Officer C. Brothers reported:

Officers responded to a report of an auto-pedestrian crash at the above address and found the victim deceased at the scene.  It is believed the female was standing in the street when she was struck by a white vehicle whose driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
