April 11, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female found at 12770 Rodeo Square Drive about 1:20 a.m. Saturday (April 8).

The identity of the deceased female, 17, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Clark and M. Nicotra reported:

Officers responded to a shooting at an apartment at the above address and found the victim inside an apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Witnesses stated the female had been living at the location. At this time there is no known suspects or motive.
