September 30, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 224 Norwood Street about 1:35 a.m. today (Sept. 30).

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer T. Smith reported:

A witness stated the victim, a pedestrian on a skateboard, was crossing the street and traveling eastbound at the above address when he was struck by a possible gray sedan traveling northbound.  The driver left the scene and did not stop to render aid.  Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased.
