September 21, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of another man at 1221 Redford Street about 12:30 a.m. today (September 21).  

The identity of the deceased victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

The second victim, 34, was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive his wounds.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective C. Bowling reported:  

The two men were inside a residence at the above address when two unknown male suspects entered the apartment and shot them both.  The suspect then took money from the surviving victim and then fled the scene.  One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.  The other was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital.  

The suspects are described only as two black males.
