September 19, 2022 - Charges are pending against a suspect arrested in a fatal crash at 3200 Reed Road about 2:10 a.m. today (Sept. 19).

The suspect, 42, is facing charges of driving while intoxicated. 

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer R. Guzman reported:

The male, a pedestrian, was unclothed and attempting to cross the street at the above address - not in a crosswalk - when he was struck by a black Buick Lacrosse traveling eastbound.  Paramedics pronounced the male deceased.

The male driver of the Buick showed signs of intoxication and was subsequently arrested in the crash.
