September 6, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9330 Main Street about 12:30 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 3).

The identity of the victim, 17, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Cass and R. Watson reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in an apartment complex parking garage at the above address.  Upon arrival, officers learned the victim had been transported to an area hospital via a private vehicle where he was pronounced deceased.

Further investigation identified a possible vehicle of interest, described only as a black Jeep SUV with temporary paper tags.  Photos of the vehicle are attached to this news release.
