Investigation into Fatal Crash at 11400 Airline Drive
October 24, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 11400 Airline Drive about 3:45 a.m. on Saturday (October 22).
The identities of the two deceased males are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer K. Johnson reported:
The driver of a silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling northbound near the above address when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway. The pickup truck drove onto the sidewalk and struck a tree. The pickup truck the rolled over and struck the fence of an apartment complex and a bus stop shelter. The truck then burst into flames.
One person inside the vehicle was pronounced deceased by Houston Fire Department paramedics. A second person was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased by paramedics.
The investigation is continuing.
