October 17, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 21800 Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) service road about 8 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 15).

The identity of the deceased male, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Le and Officer J. Bibb reported:

The male was operating a red Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane and struck a curb. Paramedics transported the male to Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The investigation is continuing.
