October 10, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7322 Guadalcanal Road that occurred about 5:05 p.m. on Sunday (October 9).

The identity of the deceased male, 41, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Smith and Detective M. Estrep reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found a male had been shot and transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Witnesses stated there had been an altercation that escalated into a shooting.

At this time there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
