October 3, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 2101 Hayes Road about 6:35 a.m. on Saturday (October 1).

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a call of a deceased person at an apartment complex at the above address. Officers arrived and found an unidentified male lying in a paved electrical easement behind the complex. He had sustained at least one gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
