November 28, 2022 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found in the Houston Ship Channel at 9601 High Level Road on Friday (November 25).

The identity of the male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective L. Lovelace reported:

The HPD Dive Team responded to the above address above and recovered the male after employees of a tugboat found him in the body of water. 

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the male's cause of death.
