November 21, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash in the 2400 block of the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 6:15 a.m. on Saturday (November 19).

The identity of the deceased male, 21, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer H. Nguyen reported:

The male was driving a gray Honda Civic northbound in the southbound lanes at the above address. The Civic struck a maroon Chevrolet Tahoe traveling southbound. The Chevrolet then struck a gray Nissan Sentra, also traveling southbound.  Paramedics pronounced the wrong-way driver of the Honda deceased at the scene.

The male driver, 25, of the Chevrolet and female driver, 70, of the Nissan were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
