November 21, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 12900 East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) service road about 11:15 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 19).

The identity of the male victim, believed to be about 50 years of age, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer J. Trevino reported:

The victim was riding a bicycle westbound at the above address when he was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle.  The driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid.  Paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
