November 15, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 11501 Richmond Avenue about 12:50 a.m. today (November 15).

The identity of the deceased female victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Jewell and Officer D. Ortega reported:

The driver of a silver Ford Mustang was traveling eastbound at the above address and, according to a witness, was weaving in and out of a lane of traffic.  The witness stated the vehicle twice struck a curb, hit two trees on its passenger side and came to a rest on the roadway. 

Two female passengers inside the vehicle were ejected.  One of them (victim) was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.  The second passenger, 19, and the male driver, 21, were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.

No charges have been filed at this time.  The investigation is continuing.
