November 12, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred in the 900 block of Ridge Street about 8 p.m. on Friday (November 11).

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective M. Hughey reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found the deceased male lying on the street.  He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.  

Further investigation identified surveillance footage that indicates the suspect vehicle may have been a dark colored, 2006 to 2010 Chevrolet Silverado.  Surveillance photos of the vehicle are attached to this news release. 

The suspect vehicle was last seen heading westbound on East 6 1/2 Street towards Studewood Drive from Norhill Boulevard.
