May 6, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 633 Rushcreek Drive about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday (May 5).

The identity of the victim, 23, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and found the victim inside his apartment.  He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.  Paramedics transported the man to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Further investigation indicated the motive is believed to be robbery involving narcotics.
