May 5, 2022 - Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 10965 South Gessner Road about 12 a.m. Tuesday (May 3).

Surveillance video of the suspect, described only as an unknown male, is attached below and can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel.

The victim is identified as Deandre Baines, 27. 

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Hernandez, A. Ferrell, and C. Flora  reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found Mr. Baines on the stairway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Baines deceased at the scene.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).  

Further investigation developed information on a possible suspect who is seen in the video.
