May 4, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 9600 Galveston Road that occurred about 1:50 a.m. today (May 4).  

The identities of the male victims, 38 and 51, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Johnson reported:  

The driver, age 38, of a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was traveling southeast near the above address and failed to stay in a single lane.  The Toyota then veered into oncoming traffic and struck a silver Nissan Versa traveling northwest on Galveston Road.  Both drivers were pronounced deceased at the scene.  

The investigation is continuing.
