Investigation into Man's Death at 1600 West Loop South
March 23, 2022 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 1600 West Loop South about 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday (March 22).
The identity and cause of death of the victim, 18, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cass and Officer J. Campbell reported:
HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics were called to a hotel at the above address. Inside one of the rooms, they found the man lying on the bed, unresponsive. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
There were no obvious signs of trauma and the investigation is pending the cause of death.
