March 16, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at that occurred at 1201 Redford Street about 2:20 a.m. today (March 16).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Perez and S. Overstreet reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address  and found the victim lying on a sidewalk. He had suffered a gunshot wound and responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
