March 8, 2022 - Houston police have released surveillance photos of a suspect sought in the fatal shooting of a woman at 9955 Club Creek Drive about 2 p.m. on February 28.

Surveillance photos of the suspect, wearing a green hoodie with a design on the front and a black ball cap, are attached to this news release.  

The victim is identified as Maria Gutierrez, 46.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Watson and Officer R. Waterwall reported:

Houston Fire Department paramedics requested the assistance of HPD patrol officers at the above address. Upon arrival, officers found the victim who had been shot.  HFD paramedics transported her to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.  

Further investigation developed information on the possible suspect seen in the surveillance photos.
