March 3, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 8800 1/2 Broadway Street about 4:30 p.m. on Monday (February 28).

The victim's identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Glover and Detective M. Estep reported:

The victim walked to the parking lot of a gas station at the above address and exchanged words with two unknown suspects.  The suspects produced firearms and shot the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
