June 9, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 13900 Beamer Road about 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday (June 8).

The identity of the deceased female, 58, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer J. Leon reported:

The female was driving a red Kia Soul northbound at the above address when she apparently had a medical episode, lost control of the vehicle, drove over the grassy median and into southbound lanes of traffic. The Kia then struck a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling southbound on Beamer Road.

Paramedics transported the female to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Medical staff stated she likely suffered a heart attack prior to the crash. A passenger in the Kia and the driver of the Chevrolet were transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing.
