June 7, 2022 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the shooting of a man that occurred at 12500 Dunlap Street about 8:50 p.m. on Monday (June 6).

The suspect, Quintin Nakeith Lewis, 33, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 176th State District Court. A booking photo of Lewis is attached to this news release.

Lewis is accused in the shooting a man, 34, who was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer C. Grahmann reported:

Lewis and the victim were arguing over a child when Lewis shot the man one time in the stomach. The victim was transported to an area hospital. Lewis, who remained at the scene, was arrested for his role in the shooting.
