June 2, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 4141 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road about 11 p.m. on Wednesday (June 1).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Simmons and Detective M. Perez reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a deceased person call at the above address and were told by Houston Fire Department paramedics that a male was found deceased on a sidewalk. He had suffered a gunshot wound.

At this time, there is no known motive, witnesses or suspect (s).
