June 1, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7700 Harwin Drive about 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday (May 31).

The identity of the deceased male, 36, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Arnold and Officer T. Smith reported:

The male was operating a red Suzuki motorcycle northbound in the 5700 block of Fondren Road and ran a red light. The motorcycle was struck by a blue Toyota Tundra pickup truck traveling westbound in the 7700 block of Harwin Drive. The motorcycle then collided with a utility pole and the male was ejected. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

The Toyota Tundra also collided with a silver Lexus GX 470. Paramedics treated and released all three occupants of the two vehicles at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
