July 6, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 10630 Beechnut Street about 9 p.m. on Tuesday (July 5).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Perez and A. Hernandez reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim in an apartment. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
