July 15, 2022 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 201 South Heights Boulevard about 6:40 a.m. today (July 15).

The identity of the victim and her cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cass and Detective J. Campbell reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to the above address and found the deceased woman inside an apartment. She was unresponsive and had severe bruising to her face and body. Paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.

The investigation is pending the woman's cause of death.
