January 25, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-ran crash at 4300 Telephone Road about 6:40 p.m. on Monday (January 24).

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer C. Loring reported:

The victim, a pedestrian, was crossing Telephone Road at the above address when he was struck by a vehicle believed to be a gray Dodge Dakota pickup truck traveling southbound.  The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene.
