January 18, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3700 Crandon Street about 3:45 a.m. on Saturday (January 15).  

The identity of the victim, 68, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives S. Sylvester and D. Stark reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a vehicle crash and gunshots heard at the above address.  Officers arrived and were advised a white Mercedes Benz and a blue Mitsubishi Eclipse were involved in a collision.  A male was found lying on the ground next to the Mercedes.  Paramedics pronounced him deceased with a gunshot wound.  Multiple guns were also recovered at the scene.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
