Investigation into Fatal Crash at 3900 Hillcroft Avenue
January 18, 2022 - Houston police have learned a woman critically injured in a hit-and-run crash at 3900 Hillcroft Avenue about 6:30 p.m. last Thursday (January 13) has died.
The identity of the victim, 26, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer X. Zhang reported:
The victim was with a two-year-old female at the above address. They were either crossing the street or on the sidewalk when she was struck by an unknown vehicle. The driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
The woman was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where, on Saturday (January 15), she was pronounced deceased. The child was not hurt.
