Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6600 Dunlap Street
February 28, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a transgender female found at 6600 Dunlap Street about 7:55 p.m. on Saturday (February 26).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Montalvo and E. Martinez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a female found deceased inside her apartment. She had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. There were no signs of forced entry to the apartment, and it is believed the victim had been shot earlier in the day.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
