February 24, 2022 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 808 North York Street about 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday (February 23).  

The identity and cause of death of the victim are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to the above address regarding a deceased person and learned witnesses had located the deceased male on the embankment of the bayou while conducting a routine cleaning.  

The investigation is pending the male's cause of death.
