February 22, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2060 Allen Genoa Road about 8 p.m. on Monday (February 21).  

The victim is identified as Kendall Lee, 47, of the above address.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Clark and M. Nicotra reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Mr. Lee unresponsive in a stairwell.  He had been shot multiple times.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Lee deceased.  

A preliminary investigation indicated a physical altercation had occurred during a possible home invasion/robbery attempt, which then led to multiple shots being fired by unknown suspects.  

At this time, there are no known suspects.
